Clay Buddies!

Hey Creationvillagers! Today we will be making clay buddies! This fantastic buddies are fun and easy to make! Lets get started!

What you need:

• Clay (any colour you want your buddy to have)
• Googly Eyes
• Stick on jewels (optional)
• Pipe Cleaners
• Feathers (optional)
• Marker (optional)
• Scissors

The optional items are for decorating! See more down below!

How to make:

1. Take a lump of clay.  Flatten the clay and make it into a circle. This is the body of your clay buddy!
2. Take two small lumps of clay and make them into legs. Stick both of them onto the bottom of the body!
3. OPTIONAL STEP: Take the feathers and put them on top of your clay buddies body.
4. Take the pipe cleaner and cut them into two pieces. Stick one pipe cleaner on 1 side of the body. Stick the other piece on the other side.
5. Take your googly eyes and stick them to the body. These are the eyes! You can put 1 or 2 eyes on your clay buddy.
6.  Using the marker, draw a mouth on your clay buddies face! You can even use the markers to decorate all around your clay buddy’s face!
7. OPTIONAL STEP: Use the stick on jewels and stick them around the body!

Now it should look kind of like this:

Winter Is Here 3D Craft Contest!

Hey Creationvillagers! Its that time of year again where we see the pretty white stuff falling from the sky. SNOW!! Yep thats right, its winter! We are holding a contest that will show us your winter spirit! The rules are very simple. All you have to do is make a 3d project without drawing it! It should tell what you did on the holidays or what you like about the winter. The winner gets to have their art piece displayed on the blog, along with another craft that doesn’t have to be about winter (it still can if you like)! If you dont want to have it displayed, its alright. You can still enter the contest. This email is for everyone to send their projects in. Its on our new creationvillage email. It is creationvillagerocks275@mail.com! This contest is going to end at February.10th,2016! Use your imagination, we would love to see what you created!

Egg Scuba Divers!

Hey Creationvillagers! Today, we will be making egg scuba divers! These are fun little critters that YOU can make yourself. Well, lets jump right in!

What do you need?

• Plastic Eggs
• Bottle Caps
• Straws
• Felt
• Glue (Hot glue is probably best)

How to make:

1. Take the bottle cap and draw a face with some eyes & a mouth.
2. Take the straw and cut it into a small piece. Make sure its not to small and at least under the extender spring.
3. Glue on the straw to the bottle cap. It should be on the side of the bottle cap.
4. Glue your little scuba gear (the bottle cap) onto the centre of the plastic egg.
5. Using the felt, cut two little webbed feet. Its like duck feet!
6. Glue the feet under the egg.

Bottle Cap Caterpillars!

Welcome back CreationVillagers! Today,we’re going to teach you how to make a really simple craft! It’s the bottle cap caterpillars. So lets get started!

What you need:

– Green construction

– Scissors

– Bottle caps

– White Glue

– Crayons

– Pipe Cleaners

– Googly Eyes

How to make:

1.) With the construction paper, cut a big leaf shape out.

2.) Colour the top of the bottle caps any colour you want.

3.) Get a plastic plate and put a puddle of glue.

4.) Put the bottom of the bottle caps in the glue.

5.) Stick the bottle caps on the leaf like a caterpillar.

6.) After the glue has fully dried,stick on the googly eyes on the first bottle cap to make a face!

7.)  Cut off 2 little pieces of the pipe cleaner to make the antennae. Glue or tape them on the bottle cap.

8.) Enjoy your caterpillar!
